"We loved this place! It was clean, very comfortable bed, plenty of room and very quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful! They booked a tour for me and my husband to the underground church (I highly recommend going there) and answered any questions we had. We travel a lot in Europe, and I must say that this was one of the nicest, cleanest and most helpful places I’ve ever stayed."

"We stopped over for one night and chose the property for its location in the vines, pool and the fact that it had a restaurant. The decor is dated but the rooms are spacious and comfy. The pool is compact and far too cold for anything more than a quick dip which was disappointing. The restaurant was excellent and surprisingly buzzy. Would recommend for a short stay. "

Breakfast was excellent with fresh coffee, juice, croissants, cheese & bread. It’s also an easy 10 minute drive through the vineyards to St. Emilion. "I was so disappointed I did not get the room I reserved with a tub inside the room. The room I got had an odd shower & the staff tried to justify it by providing a bottle wine which only cost like 15 euros. Expedia needs to do better at securing the right room that was paid for at a much higher rate for such amenities. What helped this property is that it’s beautiful surroundings & tasty wine! "
