"This lodge is absolutely gorgeous! The flowering plants and the trees make this a picturesque and peaceful location. The accommodation is has been constructed with Spanish and Peruvian tones and is spacious and comfortable. Jose and the staff were very friendly and helpful with all requests. "We stayed at Spirit of the Lodge and liked its beautiful location. Surrounded by nature and right by the river. The staff were friendly and happy to help, which we appreciated throughout our stay. That said, there were a few aspects that fell short of expectations, especially given the premium price. "The owners of this hotel are incredible and go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The hotel is located down a side street and is very quaint and lovely. Once you walk in the gate the smell of the flowers is incredible! The owners prepared a good breakfast for us with cereal, eggs, fruit and bread with butter and jam. They also let us keep our luggage in the hotel until we left ollantaytambo that night."

"Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. "

"Beautiful and serene place to rest and retreat in Sacred Valley . Services are great . Very authentic colonial Spanish architectural designs and preservation of the old church , have their own museum with collections of old artifacts. They arrange private car transport to pick me up from Ollantaytambo town and to drive me back to Cusco . "

Beautiful and Relaxing

"I loved this hotel! The place was beautiful, great view of the mountains, beautiful landscape. Definitely a great place to relax. The staff was also amazing! I received a few VIP perks: welcome chocolate mousse, access to a nice big jacuzzi and free upgrade to the suite with a huge jet bathtub. They also have a nice infinity pool and the hotel is close enough to town. Plus llamas and alpacas on their property for close up encounters."

"All of the food from the free breakfast to the dining options for lunch and dinner were delicious and beautifully presented. It was very fun to stay in a 100 year-old hotel and to walk around the gardens. Taste from the distillery and check out the coffee roasting."

Beautiful mountain resort in the sacred valley

"This was a hidden gem of a resort with a perfect location. Unlike a traditional hotel, this hotel is spread out with beautiful grounds and scenic views in all directions. The architecture and decor is in keeping with the surrounding countryside with clean and well kept rooms. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices for various dietary preferences. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station for quick and easy access to many restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend this place over many pricier hotels and would definitely stay here again. "
