We loved this hotel and would 100% recommend. Excellent location, clean, friendly, quaint. Everything we had hoped for and more. If we ever come back to Switzerland, we would absolutely stay here again. Fabulous!!

A fairytale area

What a beautiful, quaint village. Easy access by train to Lucerne. Free breakfast had best croissants I've eaten. Very easy late check in as well.

Nice hotel. Great view of the lake. Hotel restaurant dinner was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Nice wine list. Self-checkin was a little weird. Room a nice size. Large bathroom. Perfect for small family. Only issue was the town clock tower is 25 meters away and very loud. It did not ring all night, but 200 bells at 0700 was a wake up!

Adorable hotel. Staff was unbelievably helpful and nice finding us a baby crib and storing refrigerated items overnight. Short walk to the lake. Highly recommend. Just be aware the church is right next door so the bells will wake you up in the morning if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep in late but it added to the atmosphere.

Talking about a room with a view? Try to get room 22 or the one on the 3rd floor directly above for an astonishing view. The hotel itself is neat and clean, and including sauna and steambad, very nice! The breakfast buffet was up to our standard and the surroundings in the Swiss alps has been as always brilliant. So all and all a very nice stay, we didn’t extend our stay with another day for nothing! (small note on the downside, extending our stay was a bit of a hassle due to the automated check in process and the absence of a real person at a front desk.)

The room and the hotel were satisfactory. The only potential issue is that there is no staff at reception upon your arrival, and you must check in on your cellphone. Alternatively, you can call someone at their number, and they will check you in. Everything is online, hence it is a point to consider if you are not comfortable with online management of your booking. Sachseln is a beautiful place and Hotel Kreuz is within walking distance from the train station.

The room was clean and nicely sized. There was a huge step to get to the bed. Almost 40cm tall. I don’t think it is safe for most of the people to stay in such room.

Great hotel for my purposes. Very nice room and everythings worked and the breakfast buffet was fine. But you would expect a little more when you look at the price. The check-in is done on a screen and there were no people to help.

Every my wishes of high level and nice view were came true but i was allocated in old building which i had no idea of existing old and new building with No lift and air conditioning. Carry all heavy luggage to the top. Not cool to do.

Man har misforstået opgaven med at drive hotel. Ingen bemandet reception overhovedet, kun selvbetjeningsløsninger, ingen personlighed eller høren hjemme følelse. Ingen mulighed for at bruge faciliteterne på 'hotellet', da det skulle forberedes og betjenes af perso ale der ikke var på hotellet, alt for dyrt ift. kvalitet. Det var som at bo i en gammeldags telefonbank.
