The little town of Sabro has only around 3,000 inhabitants, and is a suburb of Denmark’s second city, Aarhus. A stay here means the chance to try everything Aarhus has to offer in the way of entertainment and art, great shopping and cuisine.

Back on the street, there are all the shops you would expect to find in a city of this size on Strøget, the main high street that stretches from the train station down to Aarhus Domkirke. Round off the day with a great dinner in one of the restaurants along the banks of Aarhus River.
Get off the bus a little before the city centre to visit Den Gamle By. This open-air museum was founded as an old market town with 80historical buildings brought here and rebuilt from sites all over the country, dating from different periods from the 16th to the 20th centuries. A special Christmas event is put on every December, and draws many tourists.
