"We had a spectacular time. Gorgeous property with ocean front views. Comfortable furnishings and great kitchen. Staff is super friendly! But…There are tremendous amount of stray cats on the property causing outside patio and yard area smelled like spray when it rained."

"I liked that the manager was always available and very helpful and the hotel is in a good location to the beach, restaurantes and all the stores. "

"I arrived and they had no power. The place was filthy and unkempt along with the pool being green and it took over 20 minutes to find someone on the property. I spoke with the maintenance guy and the head of reservations and he said if I found my itinerary he would work on refunding my money. I came back after finding my confirmation number two time each day taking time from my vacation and I couldn’t find anyone on the property. So in turn I got screwed out of almost $400 "

"Nice lobby architecture seen from Pool área, suggesrive of Taíno culture. Large beautiful clear Pool with various sections and central fountains. Excellent and plentiful food in buffet, varied themes nightly, with three a la carte restaurants. Pleasant and helpful staff. Sadly ocean was too rough for swimming-first time in 30 years of visitong POP."

"We considered and all inclusive and cancelled our reservations at another hotel a few days before we arrived. Best decision of our trip. The breakfast exceeded my expectations . The location was perfect , 2 minute walk to the grocery store and able to get the restaurants and main beach area without walking on the chaotic road and sidewalk . Grounds and pool area were constantly cleaned . Biggest surprise was how quiet and peaceful ( Cabarete can have a lot of road noise and gas fumes) Our hotel was sheltered from this , nicely situated at point with the best views . Thank you all the staff and management for making this a memorable experience . This was or fifth time to Cabarete and most pleasurable "

"Another excellent stay at Gran Ventana! Traveled with family and when we arrived our rooms were ready right at 3pm and check-in was fast even though there was a line. When we got to our rooms there was a “Welcome Back!” banner that we really enjoyed. We were also provided with fresh fruit and a bottle of the local rum. Property was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Raul was very helpful at the buffet and Rosa always had an amazing smile! Food options were good and had variety. The only thing that could improve was the water delivery at the dinner tables, I was always needing to call someone to get water. Beachfront property and security guard always available and very professional. I really liked that they were cleaning the seaweed that sometimes comes on shore everyday. Overall great stay, would definitely recommend! "
