"The hotel was very nice and clean. You were able to walk nearby restaurants or small shops. Outside by the pool you basically had your own beach. The cleaning ladies were super nice and helpful with our wedding event as well."

"The resort was lovely. There was unfortunately one front desk staff member who was rude all week to us and I feel she may be better suited for a position that does not interact with customers. The remainder of the front staff were very friendly and welcoming all week. I wish there would have been more of a variety of food options. There was only one restaurant open other than the buffet on any given night."

"Lovely room which was serviced every day. Sea view. Fabulous shower. Room had fridge which was handy for water, beer and wine! Great choices at breakfast buffet. Drinks good value if you're not all inclusive. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds. Luggage room and showers available if you have a later flight. "

The facilities, the service was superb, the bed was very confortable and the room had a very nice view of the Ocean. Highly recommended. "Missing a shelf in the bathroom, tiles and metal in bathroom looked dirty/rusty. The fridge made a lot of sound even after changing, the heating was weird, was there in November but compared to home that is warm and there was no fan, AC. Good things about it was that the reception was always pleasant and were very helpful. The breakfast buffet varied a little from day to day so you could try new things. Overall it was good, had what I needed for the most part."

"Great location and found the staff on reception and in general all week to be excellent and helpful - great that there are a couple of blocks and options in terms of pool areas and bars - only slight issue we found is lifts and waiting - because of the split between buildings and separate lifts for getting to beach and main pool, you often have to wait for multiple trips for lift whixh are also really small so if you have a baby and pram like we did you cant fit or share with others so often had...

"Just back. Had a lovely 10 nights stay at Casa Vida. Apartment was a great size with everything needed. Big balcony with a lovely outlook over pool & a seaview. Peaceful nights sleep in the quieter side of bay. House keeping done every 4th day, fresh towels, bedding etc. Must mention the lifeguard "Dominique" such a warm welcoming person who is extremely diligent and vigilant in her role. Will definitely be back. Colin & Laura"

"The property was really nice and although Santa Ponca is a commercial resort it had a nice vibe to it, great beach and accessible to explore other areas. The view was lovely from the balcony and pool was great. There are lots of steps up to the complex from the town/beach which was ok for our family but some might find this a problem. We would definitely recommend this to others and return for another stay."
