"It's our 3rd time at Forn Nou and as promised before we will be back. We love the feel of it, the personal touch, Adrian, Marga and everyone there are just amaizing and working so hard for us to have a very nice holiday. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable, this time we went for HB knowing the quality of the fresh food. Again, a big shout out to Toni for his help in organising a room so we can have a late shower before our late evening flight. With love and appreciation, Andrei and Ramona"

"This was a perfect property for my boyfriend and I. We were able to enjoy the beach (30 second walk) with everything in walking distance including Aldi for groceries and many restaurants and mini supermarkets and gift shops on the surrounding streets. The staff were very lovely and often put out the leftover pastries from breakfast to share! Would definitely stay again and couldn’t recommend more if you just want a small, convenient and affordable getaway! "

"Enjoyed my stay even though it was out of season and quiet but hotel provided excellent service , great rooms though would have liked tea and coffee facilities in room. the drinks and food served in bar was reasonably priced. The entertainment in the evening was ok just bingo. Not many shops or restaurants open but found places to eat. Would come back in high season x"

"We have spent 5 fantastic days in this Iberostar and enjoyed an amazing view from the balcony. The location is perfect as you can swim in the sea or in the swimming pool. You can access the sea by the rocks or walking 3 minutes to the beach. There are hiking paths in front of the hotel where you can have a walk or run. Got locked out of the hotel and they were quick to answer a very late night phone call to help us out. "The hotel was not as online or in photos. It is poorly neglected and filthy. I would never stay again. Especially with the price they are charging. The 1st room they gave me smelt like an ashtray even though it was non-smoking room and there were food crumbs on the floor. The 2nd room was moldy and there were water leaks and toilet wouldn't stop running. There is no security in the building just a simple key to lock your door, no deadbolt. "The hotel was friendly and clean, the staff were helpful. The room was well aid out and spacious this particular room did not have a proper shower tray with a door or a towel rail which would have been better. The balcony view of this room was to the rear of the hotel no pleasant gardens or anything just views out over residential properties and the car park which can be a little noisy at times with cars and dogs barking etc. "

"We loved our stay at Vell Marí and would definitely go back again. It’s an easy drive from the airport. We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel. It’s right opposite Lidl which is handy if you don’t want to take toiletries in your suitcase. The staff were lovely and the food was good and varied every day although there were also consistent options like pizza and pasta so always something for my picky eater 7 year old. The hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms are soundproof so although we could just about hear the entertainment in the evenings it wasn’t loud enough that it kept my son awake and it also didn’t go on too late. Only negatives are that I would have liked a kettle in our room as I like a coffee when I wake up. We had a microwave so I would microwave water for coffee but a kettle would have been nice. Also the air con didn’t get super cold. It was noticeable during the day but at night it felt like it wasn’t really doing much so even though we had it on the coldest setting that still felt like maybe 22-23oC which is warmer than we are used to sleeping in at night. But really those negatives are so minor, it really is a super little hotel and I have recommended it to anyone who asked me about our holiday. Thank you Vell Marí :)"
