"The main castle and grounds were beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool/sauna area was very nice, but we were unaware there was an additional charge to use the facility. The rooms we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures shown on Expedia and were not actually located in the castle. They were clean, but extremely small and very plain. "Very spacious suites and general walkways. Clean, modern and comfortable. 1/2 hour drive from old Stockholm. The restaurant/bar is a work of art in itself with the pound, fish and palm trees. "This was a very elegant property, beautiful buildings rooms, excellent breakfast delicious dinner cooked by an accomplished chef. If you have a heavy suitcase, the parking lot is about 100 yards from the entrance and it’s a little difficult going uphill in gravel. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and they have luxurious rooms to sit in and have coffee after dinner downstairs. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as is the Cook. "Comfortable and private rooms, excellent place to stay if you need somewhere to sleep close to Stockholm. Price was great and fitted us perfectly for visiting friends nearby over the New Year holiday. The host was friendly and accommodating and helped us find the entrance, which can be a bit tricky to find even if you know the area somewhat."

"I loved that it is so close to public transportation. The accommodations were perfect for us. It was nice to have a microwave, fridge, hot plate, and dishwasher. Dishes and pots and pans were also provided. The room was very clean. It was also nice to have laundry facilities on site. Lots of cabinet space. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Very beautiful, classy and quite. We stayed for a night and loved it in every way. We didn’t have the opportunity to interact with the staff but from the small conversations we had they seemed friendly. Would recommend if you like to relax and enjoy the tranquility nature offers, either by staying in and playing pool all day, taking a calm hike in the trees near the lake or by spending your day swimming when the sun is out. Overall, very nice and neat."

"The hotel's location was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee available in the lobby. When I mentioned that it was a bit cold, they provided an extra heater, which was very thoughtful. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the overall design of the hotel was impressive. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Superb value for price. A simple room with a twin bed for an overnight near the airport for an early flight. Shuttle bus in both directions and an excellent hot breakfast buffet were both included. Friendly, clean, great recommendations from a staff member for a quick trip to Sigtuna by Uber. What more do you want? "
