"New owners had just taken over 5 days before we arrived so will love to see how they put their mark on the place. Good facilities but have been unloved for a while so new owners will spruce things up and it’ll be a gem….we will come back again and in summer to enjoy the pool. Our room was good, had a great couple of nights sleep."

"Great location and really clean. Bathroom spacious and lots of fast hot water. However, customer service needs to be better. Not once was I greeted with a “good morning” or “how is your stay going” or “is there anything that I can do to help”. Simple to do, but the two ladies in reception seemed oblivious. Perhaps they are understaffed or underpaid or not trained properly which was a shame as otherwise I would have given this hotel a higher rating."

"We stayed for a couple of nights at Russell Motel. The accommodation was small but very cutely furnished with comfy beds and everything else that we needed. The hosts were so friendly and kind. Didnt feel like i met them for the first time. There is a small pool that is realh cute and the girls had a dip, although it was a cold day. The location is very close to everything you need. Would love to go there again considering that my fur baby was also welcome and they kindly offered to sit her...
