"I choose this hotel based on its reviews however was disappointed that I had to perform pest control on three small roaches in the room. The bed, while it was clean, seemed like it was old and hard and not very comfortable, and I like a firm mattress. There were a couple of crickets in the room but it’s getting to be cricket season and difficult to control especially when your door faces outside. Glad they were

"When we checked in, we were greeted by the nicest young man. We enjoyed great customer service and while the motel itself is older the owners are taking great pride in updating it and keeping the maintenance in top notch! My ONLY suggestion that would improve the stay is that this hotel is
pet friendly
(another great perk) and the entire grass/sand area is covered in spiky briars that hurt the paws of our
pets
. Please consider a separate pet area that has been completely removed of them. Great...
