"Kittiwake House was an excellent place to stay in Port Erin and a very convenient base for exploring all of Isle of Man. "A very clean, spacious apartment centrally placed in the town, with free private parking directly outside the block in a large enclosed courtyard. Excellent value for money and would certainly recommend. "

"We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living...

"The Claremont is in a perfect location on the seaside in central Douglas. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and efficient. Dinner as well as breakfast the next morning were wonderful. Room had a tub AND a walk-in shower! "

Excellent is an understatement

"I had an absolutely excellent stay at the Halvard Hotel in the Isle of Man! The hotel is newly refurbished, blending modern elegance with every comfort you could need. The rooms are equipped with sleek, contemporary amenities, and the walk-in shower was such a luxurious touch. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the wonderful staff. Lucas, Marianne, and Grace were incredible – always so helpful, attentive, and genuinely sweet. Their warmth and professionalism made the experience even more special. From the beautifully updated interiors to the impeccable service, the Halvard Hotel is a gem. I left with nothing but positive memories and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the Isle of Man. Can’t wait to return!"

Best family hotel on the island?

"The best (family) hotel in the Isle of Man? We were on the island for a few days and wanted to cover as much as possible of the island. The location was perfect to cover north, south, west and eastern parts of the island. We got a connecting room and had some disturbance in the morning from the room next to us but the staff blocked it off after the guest checked out. Excellent service. Breakfast is somewhat basic but had everything you needed and a great scrambled egg. Big parking space, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and nice Christmas decoration which gave a nice ambiance. They even have an indoor pool included in the stay, and with option to add access to spa or have treatments. We had a great stay here. Thank you!"
