Direkt am Marktplatz gelegen, in der historischen Altstadt. Unweit des Schlosses. Sehr angenehm und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt. Bei längerem Aufenthalt würden der knarzende Holz fussboden stören. Das war ausreichend. Mittelmäßig.

Altstadthotel mit kleinen Schwächen
Altehrwürdiges Haus, das Knarren der Dielen zeugt auf liebenswerte Weise davon. Schönes Zimmer zum Markt hin mit Detailschwächen: Kopfteil vom Doppelbett angeschmuddelt, Fugen in der Dusche teilweise angeschimmelt, fehlende Rosetten an den Heizungsrohren im Bad, Kleiderschrank ließ sich nicht richtig schließen... Einige Kleinigkeiten halt, die mit relativ wenig Arbeit zu beseitigen wären. Toll ist der gratis Parkplatz im Hinterhof. Wenn man ein Zimmer zum Marktplatz hin hat und ger bei offenen Fenstern schläft, sollte man keinen allzu leichten Schlaf haben: zwei bis drei verschiedene Kirchenglocken läuten viertelstündlich die ganze Nacht.

Unpersönlicher Aufenthalt im historischen Ambiente
Das Einchecken war ab Punkt 14:00 Uhr am Automaten möglich mit sofortiger Kartenzahlung und Vergabe der Zimmerkarten. Das Zimmer war jedoch um 14:30 Uhr noch immer so, wie es die Gäste vor uns verlassen hatten, immerhin waren die Betten bereits abgezogen. Pünktlich um 15:00 Uhr war das Zimmer dann doch schon bezugsfertig mit Staub in den Ecken, am Tisch, unter dem Bett und an der Bettumrandung, vor allem am Kopfteil. Wir hatten das Komfort-Zimmer mit Blick zum Markt, vermissten jedoch das angepriesene Himmelbett. Leider gibt es auch in diesem Zimmer keine Flasche Mineralwasser für die Gäste. Im doch relativ großen Bad vermisste man Ablagemöglichkeiten, außer der Glasablage über dem Waschbecken und dem Waschbecken selbst. Das doch sehr rutschige Duschbecken muss ohne einen in anderen Hotels üblichen Duschläufer/-handtuch auskommen. Der Kontakt zum Personal beschränkte sich auf das Bereitstellen des Filterkaffees und Cappuccino, welcher jedoch erst einmal vergessen wurde. Zum Check-out gab es dann nur einen Kasten für die Rückgabe der Zimmerkarten, somit erübrigte sich die Besetzung der Rezeption bzw. eine Verabschiedung der Gäste.

Hotel ist zentral am Marktplatz, gegenüber vom Rathaus und nur 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt gelegen. Zur Heidecksburg sind es ca. 30 Minuten den Berg hinauf. Das Hotel ist sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist zwar reichhaltig, aber alles schmeckt nach nicht und Plastik. Ein italienisches Restaurant im selben Haus ist sehr gut und zu empfehlen.

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel, mit einem sehr guten Frühstück und sehr sauberem Zimmer. Zwei Kleinigkeiten gab es, mir hat in dem Einzelzimmer Ablagefläche am Bett gefehlt und die Dusche war beim aussteigen rutschig. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen.
