"We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent and we liked the balcony. The room was large and furnished very nicely. The only issue that I had was that I was charged 22.50€ city tax when the Expedia receipt showed less than £7. "

"I did not like my room. Exception was the bathroom though. It was great but even there where little Problems. Power poit only works If you turn light on. To so good if you want To go to sleep and charge tablet at the same time. Bath towels where very much past the USE BY DATE, Thin and not absorbing water well… Shower and toilet was great. As my room 209 did not have windows out, But some kind of corridor it was not possible to have Window open…..I did not have a great feeling About the mat...

"This was my second time staying at the hotel and if I ever go back to Kosice, I’ll stay here again. The hotel has a fantastic location: very close to the train station and is very close to downtown. The rooms are beautiful and big. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and big breakfast was included in the price. "

"The hotel is just outside the old town in a quiet area. Its in easy reach of the bus and train stations so handy for public transport. Our room was compact but had everything we needed and was very warm, useful in December. Security is excellent. Excellent value with friendly staff."

"This was my second time staying at the hotel and if I ever go back to Kosice, I’ll stay here again. The hotel has a fantastic location: very close to the train station and is very close to downtown. "My review is based on the fact that the elevator broke on the way to our room on the third floor. We had to drag our suitcases up stairs and down to check out. On the day we were leaving, the reception staff person helped us get our suitcases out of the hotel to the car. Although there is parking,secured as well, you had to go out on the street and up a long flight of stairs to get to reception. There was no assistance. We are 70 and I have a knee injury, so all of this was a challenge. My other complaint is smoking—it is a non smoking facility but you can smoke on your balcony. We shared a balcony with a smoker which means we could not open our window. There was a table and chairs by the entry door to the hotel where everyone was smoking. It absolutely reeked. On the good side, you could exit the hotel right out to the main pedestrian zone. We stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and liked it. In my opinion, this is not a 4 star hotel any longer. If you go there and have dietary restrictions, it does not work to let them know ahead of time. Tell them at reception when you get there. Breakfast has good selection generally."
