"Fabulous hotel, excellent location, very quirky with Hell or Heaven rooms, have tried both, so different but both as good. Great atmosphere, big rooms, amazing toiletries and free water and beer. Decor throughout very well thought out. Restaurant evening dining extremely good, gets very busy. Breakfast good choice of hot and cold, highly recommend."

"First impressions were very good. This is an old building full of character and a stones through away from the main sights in Florence. As its name suggests there are lots of stairs, and we did request a lower floor room in advance so it was a bit disappointing to find ourselves on an upper floor. There is a tiny lift suitable for 2 persons only so we had to travel separately to get our suitcases to the room. This also meant we had to wait if other people were using the lift 2 at a time.
