The host was accommodating and kind- he even waited for us since we landed after check-in hours. The location is convenient and walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, etc. It was very fun exploring the streets around the location & there are so many good food spots near.

Wonderful stay! The room was spacious and comfortable! Excellent location being walking distance from pretty much all the major sites and close to some excellent restaurants and bars. Only slight niggle was that because it’s not a 24hr check in (as a lot of places are) we couldn’t leave our bags all day on our last day before our late flight home, but that’s completely understandable. The coffee making facilities were excellent, great shower, lovely and cool without the need for Aircon and free sweets (which our 9 year old son loved!) made this such a memorable trip. Highly recommend!

Pros: Nice staff, in a quiet neighborhood and comfortable bed. The location was terrific. Cons: a little hard to find because it is in an unmarked building, you have to coordinate check-in because there isn’t a direct entrance, bathroom not designed for a six foot person.

Quirky But would Stay Again

This is not a hotel, but more like an AirBnb, or Room Rental. This location and room were great. The have a checkin policy that almost went bad for us 2-8pm; missed flight and did not get in until midnight, but Antonio with Manuella’s help made it all work well. We would stay there again.

A clean, reasonable property close to key attractions and stations. Customer service was really good. Comfortable bed. Sound proofing between rooms is good but not as good between the lobby area and the room (but it this isn’t an issue if you’re out most of the time anyway)

The staff (Antonio, Naweesha, and Zakir) at Rione Monti Suites were wonderful! They helped organize our transportation from the airport and provided us with recommendations for places to eat and visit during our stay in Rome. If we needed additional toiletries (towels) or had any questions, they were quick to accommodate and answer them for us!

Central and comfortable

Rione Monti Suites was a convenient place to a stay and a relaxing place to rest after a long day of tours and walks around Rome. Antonio was so helpful when we checked in, offering restauraunt, dish, and tourist attraction recommendations. Our suite was kept tidy, the AC worked great, and the building was quiet aside from occasional passersby in the hallway, which was expected. Thank you for an excellent stay!

The property was safe and secure. We were able to walk to most attractions or to public transport. There was not much privacy though as conversations in the rooms could be heard outside the rooms. It would also be nice to have individual kettles and tea items in the room and maybe a microwave in the property.

We stayed at Rione Monte Suites for 3 nights while in Rome. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk from the main train station and about a 10 minute walk from the closest metro station. The staff was flexible with us when we changed our check in time 3 different times due to a change in our flight schedule. They walked you through the process to access your room upon arrival. They were also kind enough to provide us with a city map and noted the locations to all the main sights. There was a small communal kitchen available with a coffee maker, dishes, and a refrigerator during your stay. The room was the perfect size for 2 and comfortable. I would note that there wasn't a sign for the hotel that we saw, and we had walked passed the front door at first. Then we noticed the name on the list of spaces to be buzzed in on the door. But overall, this was a great location for what we planned to do while in Rome!

Great location! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. 5-10 minutes from Bus Tour stops, 10 min walk for metro station, 15 minutes to coliseum, etc. Again, great location! Finding it might be very tricky. Look for a wooden door on the very right of the building; almost at the corner. On the right side of the door, there is a tiny buzzer that says Rione Monte Suites. (Street names are on the marble plaques 15 ft above the street on the corner of the building; at the intersection.) As far as accommodations, they are ok. Small rooms. Rather crowded. We stayed there in April and it was so humid in the room that nothing dried. Our towels were always wet. And they did not give us new towels until the 4th day of the stay and only because we just left them as a wet pile on the floor. Slight mold in the bathroom, on the ceiling and in the shower. The front desk attendant is there only 9:00-2:00, so if you need anything, make sure you are at the “hotel” at that time. We had daily tours booked, so we never had a chance to ask for our breakfast vouchers that they did not give us when we checked in. Check out is at 10:00 am. If your flight is later in the day, you can leave your bags at the hotel, but have to pick them up before 2:00, because you’ll submit the keys at 10 and wouldn’t have a way to go back pick up the bags when the front desk attendant leaves. Another great alternative is leaving your bags at the Bag Drop off location 5 minutes down the street. Use the app Bounce
