Easy, clean and simple
I arrived late evening and was stayng one night. Room was very small, but in a good condition, clean, bright colours. I liked it. Due to the size of the room I would not choose fir a long stay, but for a good sleep over it was perfect.

A nice hotel typical of the area
It’s a nice typical Roman 3 star hotel. Staff very helpful. My only frustration was the wifi in the area of my room kept lagging or cutting out. The amenities are all good- as expected

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and every time we go it even better than the first. They have remodeled the rooms and the staff is always helpful and courteous. I love this place and I will always stay there when in Rome! Diana 09/08/19

Not what it seems
The location is pretty good but the hotel should not be rated as 3 stars. The room needs some TLC. The view outside the window was a wall and there was very little light coming in. While the room was clean, I would never have chosen this hotel for the money I paid should I have known how it looks.

This hotel is acceptable if you’re on a budget and looking for a place to basically keep your things while you tour. The room we had was very small... typical of Europe. Fire alarms in the middle of the night, elevator broke down the morning we left, and if you didn’t let them clean your room at 0800, it wasn’t getting cleaned. The breakfast was basically fruit, croissants and hard boiled eggs... if you want any anything more, you have to walk to one of the other nearby hotels and pay for their breakfast. The elevator only holds 2 grown adults... weight or size, it’s small and doesn’t hold much. You’re playing musical chairs getting a family up and down from the room if you have anything more than two people. I was rather nervous riding the rickety thing! The beds were OK... not comfortable my any means, but for a few days they were ok. The restaurants downstairs are actually quite good! I’d recommend La Bottega next door. It’s not close to ANY of the major tourist spots, so you’ll be walking a bit to get anywhere. The outside and look of the hotel was a little sketchy too... lots of trash on the street, the front of the hotel could use some cleaning, and the lobby was a bit run down. Again, if you’re heading to Rome on a budget... this place will work. Just keep your expectations low.

Will not return
Once you check in you go through a door that looks like where workers would stay. The room has no window, no mirror and you better be skinny to fit in the bathroom. If you are clastorfobic DO NOT STAY HERE. You are quite a way from major attractions so wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk everywhere.

Great location, reasonable price, friendly service
Great location, walking distance from Termini station and many attractions, public transport a few steps away, reasonable price for relatively small but comfy room & large bathroom (needs a little shelf for toiletries), friendly service, room and hotel is clean, fresh crisp white linens every day, good breakfast with reasonable choices. Wi-Fi worked quite well; some issues with the safe & room key staff took care in no time. The one things I was not happy about was the table linen in the breakfast room which were dirty all three days. Coffee - far from the quality you find in every corner in Rome. Relatively quiet neighbourhood, several restaurants just downstairs, supermarket, convenience stores, cafes within 100-200 m from the hotel.

They promised us to give one double and two single beds but they end up giving us one double and one soft bed. Sofa bed had springs sticking out which gave me back pain. Third night they moved us to a different room but here, phone and shower wasn't working. Elevator was there but only to go up. Last day I had to drag my suit cases down the stairs. 😠😠

Not great value for money
Hotel rooms are clean and that's one of only few positives. Rooms are on the smaller side. While the reception staff are friendly and approachable, same can't be said of the breakfast staff one of whom was very rude and prompting customers to get out closer to the closing time. Breakfast was decent but not a great variety. It might be ok for a quick one night stay but for staying for more days, I would rather suggest you look elsewhere that provides better value for the money.

I picked this hotel because it is close to all of the places that I wanted to see while I was in Rome. I looked up the hotel and saw that it seemed very nice and clean. But when I got there there was mold in my shower. And marks all over the walls. My door did not lock from the inside and one of my windows didn't lock either. During my stay they actually changed all the door keys from cards to regular keys. So that made me feel safer. But I didn't like the fact that there are no set of stairs to go down stairs. You have to take an extremely small elevator. This elevator seems as if it is going to stop at any minute. The staff were very kind and had no problem ordering me a taxi every morning.

Adequate
The hotel itself is quite pleasant approaching reception, however walk through to the dining room and there is an open courtyard with scaffolding tower, half-finished pipework and bits of building detritus. On the first floor the corridor to our room had the ceiling missing, it was lashed up with bedsheets and drawing pins and off cuts of plasterboard. Next to the lift on the first floor was a half-finished electrical installation on the wall with exposed wiring. The room itself was cramped and small with only a very limited amount of storage space. This was compounded by the fact that some of the furniture was damaged and broken. On the plus side the maid came daily to clean and make the bed. The bed was comfortable and nice to have a proper double bed instead of the two singles pushed together which are often to be found in hotels. Having said that, the room was too small in any case to accommodate two single beds. The breakfast was adequate, although there was no hot food and the coffee from the machine was not too good. Overall a bit disappointing.

The hotel looks a little old but functional. Close to Roma Termini, tours, museums and tourist locations. Good food and service.
