I had an excellent stay here during my vacation. The hotel was walking distance to the Vatican, the metro and other great restaurants and cafes. Room service was fantastic and daily. The property has an elevator for easy access to the floors. I felt very safe walking in the area, even late at night. I would definitely stay here if I were to visit Rome again.

Friendly and helpful host, room was clean and modern, location was pretty good. Communal kitchen area with kettle/toaster etc. we stayed in the “Bronze Room” which was straight off the communal kitchen so could hear everyone and everything unfortunately. Although the owner does reinforce keeping the noise down, some guests don’t seem to take much notice. I would definitely stay again but in a different room, away from the communal area.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the neat apartment near Vatican. Everything was set up to our complete comfort and we could reach every attraction by foot. Offer of transport from and to Fiumicino airport was more tha comfortable by affordable price. So we can just say thank you to Gianluca for making our trip to Rome such an incredible journey. We loved our stay at the El Dorado. Our host was incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind. You can tell he takes pride in his property. The only issue we had was that the wifi went out a few times, but it was uncommonly windy this week. There was also a backup when it went out.
