"The room was much larger than most for the price. The mini fridge was comparable in size to one you might find in a small apartment. An abundance of towels in comparison to other hotels that often give you 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per occupant. We were traveling with a family member that had recent knee surgery and the staff was very kind in picking a room for us that had limited stairs and easy access to the shower. We so very much appreciated their willingness to be accomidating. "

"We, family of 4 plus dog, have stayed at this hotel overnight several times over the past 5 years, most recently in July 2024. We love the location, as it is quiet and surrounded by forest with lots of relaxing walking routes nearby, yet not far from the shopping centre in Zweibrücken (which has fast chargers in case you arrived by EV). Rooms are large (over two levels), with access to the garden (very handy if you have a dog that needs to go out during early hours). The food offered in the restaurants is excellent, including the buffet breakfast. We look forward to returning for another stay next summer."

"My sister and I stayed for two nights. The staff was very friendly and even served us dinner after the kitchen had closed moments before our arrival. Room was clean. You do have to ask for clean towels each day, but that really wasn’t a problem. "

"I have stayed here on many occasions. The food is amazing and the main hotel has a pool and spa with services. Original hotel is Kunz just across the street. I just extended my stay two more nights."

"Parking directions to back of hotel should be prime otherwise sat nav brings you to the front door and it means a long way to return to a right turn into the car park. Left turn-in is not allowed so need to go round the roundabout and under the rail bridge again. "

"Shabby chic hotel, which kind of fits into the environment. This was the second time we stayed here as it’s a perfect overnight stop for us. Yes it needs updating, bathroom decor late 70s, early 80s but all in all, good value for money. Hotel is in a great location for walking, cycling and hiking."
