"It is a little oasis in the middle of the city. Small hotel with lots of greenery and very private rooms. Everything was very clean and maintained daily. Excellent staff, good breakfast. Overall an excellent hotel to relax in while visiting central Battambang. Loved it"

"The hotel itself is great, clean and staff were efficient. But the area around it was super dirty, dusty and not the safest to walk around if you are not careful. It was very convenient and located right next to the markets and many coffee shops, but maybe they were doing construction throughout the city. "

"Large room, quiet, very comfortable bed (mattress on the floor). Unfortunately it was let down by the bathroom, which got completely wet due to the open shower and the shiny floor tiles then got very slippery. Quiet pool and small garden area, pretty enough to be used by a wedding couple for their photos during our stay. Not much in the immediate area in terms of food options but we discovered Cafe Eden on the other side of the river, an easy walk for good food. "

"Property was clean and the room was good sized. Theres a nice Italian restaurant a couple of blocks away. I would recommend the hotel. However, the bus they arranged to Siem Reap was someone with a minivan, not a commercial vehicle in any way. The ride was terrible in so many ways."

"Old but beautiful building , in need of tender loving face lift and care , specially the shower. Limited restaurant menu option and slow service . Rooms facing road could be quite noisy . Receptionist was very polite and helpful."

"Furnishings are gaudy. Hotel could do with some maintenance. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms were clean. Walking distance to restaurants. Comfortable for one nights stay before heading elsewhere."

"An ordinary hotel in Battambang- very hard uncomfortable bed, room didn’t overlook a pool- shower room had water, we didn’t get any hot water, curtains were ineffective. Interesting lock (padlock) for the room, We ordered some room service- this was ok. Seemed a nice family running the place but it’s more of a guest house feel."

"Got there late in the evening after having made a reservation online. They said they didn't have any rooms left. I told them I had reserved online and showed them my confirmation but they kept saying they were full. They offered to give me a room for the following night which would have been useless for the night I needed. So I told them I wanted a refund since I had already paid online. At that point they finally took me to a perfectly useable room. I'm not sure why they didn't in the first...

"Great hotel. Safe. Good service. We have stayed here before amd will stay here again. But be aware, the beds are very hard. I know its a matter of preference. If a soft bed is important for you, you might have a hard time."

A Great Escape!

"Great hide-a-way to relax. Extremely peaceful. I couldn't get the A/C to drop down to 21C, but it was comfortable. Also thought they might invest in some new face cloths. (mine were a little stained, but clean). Staff if great and can't do enough for you. Wish I could of stayed a few more days!"
