The hotel was very nice. Very good location. My only comment is the strong perfume smell throughout the hotel excluding our room. I have a sensitivity to perfumes so I ended up with a migraine from all the perfume smells in the air. Just suggest that the hotel consider guests with sensitivity, it is a spa.

Nice and clean rooms, close to the city center. The Breakfast was quite good and complete and their employees were very nice and service oriented. Besides that, we expected a higher level of Hotel service. SPA in the hotel was closed, and we were only informed when we were checking in. Pity, because we booked precisely to enjoy the SPA with our little one. We were offered SPA in other locations but most of the time the available dates/ times didn’t fit our plans, not to mention the unfriendliness of the staff there. One time we made a booking in the hotel, but because we weren’t given a voucher to the other SPA, when we went there we had to go all the way back to our hotel to get it. Other time there was a private SPA reserved which the paying guests couldn’t enjoy… so fellow tourist beware this can happen to you too. Unfortunately, our experience was really not what we expected.

On my way flying to Riga I received a text message from the hotel relocating me to a much lower grade hotel miles away from the centre where I had already booked and paid for the Wellton hotel. They then offered that I book and pay full price again to stay at one of their other vacant hotels. Absolutely disgraceful way to run a business. I had stayed at their hotel before which in itself is a nice hotel but this is how they treat return customers, or any customer for that fact. I have emailed the hotel asking what happened but needless to say they did not reply. Will never use or recommend this company again, ever.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The room is overall clean but the sheets didn't smell fresh. There was a problem with the shower, the water not running properly. However, they sent the mechanic and sorted it out very quickly. The area is awesome, walkable within the old town area and close to the bus station 'autoosta'
