Staff was wonderful.Hotel serves its purpose, with a 24hr quik trip next door. They also do offer a breakfast, which is cute and even has iced tea .

The place was clean, and what I liked the most was the friendly and helpful staff. There was also a kiosk in the lobby that assisted me in finding nearby restaurants. The breakfast was decent, though with limited options, but the omelette was really tasty. Overall, I had a great stay, and I would definitely consider returning in the future.

Breakfast was available earlier than advertised which I appreciated as I had to leave before it would have been offered. Good stay overall, very solid option at $75-80 per night. I liked that it was next to Kwik Trip.

We were in town for a funeral, stayed one night. Check in was quick and the clerk was very nice. The room had two queen beds. The room was clean. My teenage daughter really liked the reading nook by the window. Lots of channels available on the TV. Pillows were comfortable. A short drive to Main Street where all the restaurants are. We aren't breakfast eaters but we did go take a look, there seemed to be a lot of options including waffles, make your own omelet, cereal, and yogurt. I'd stay here again.

Better options at this exit!
I travel through this area every year and look for a clean, safe and comfortable hotel room right off the highway. Tried Microtel this time and never again. Arrived around 8pm and was greeted by a woman who told us to wait for the front desk worker who was in a guest’s room “trying to fix the TV.” We waited 10 minutes for him to return. I would have cancelled and driven down the street if the reservation wasn’t non-refundable. Finally got keys and went to room. Bath tub had hairs in it and toilet had a dirty ring in the bowl. Long skinny room with nice kitchenette but tv was in front of sofa so couldn’t watch tv from bed. Upholstered sofa had multiple stains and tv remote would turn on tv and change volume but channel up and down button didn’t work. We didn’t bother calling for help on TV. AC was loud so at 3am I tried turning it off and opening window but we looked right out over the KwikTrip who had loud music playing at the gas pumps all night. Breakfast looked decent (cereal, muffins, waffle machine and omelette machine) but seeing the dirty room discouraged me from eating their food so I walked next door to KwikTrip for coffee and a muffin. Next trip I’ll be back at the Rice Lake Best Western Inn or try another of the multiple options.
