"The property is clean and in the middle of everything. Free parking on street. Restaurants everywhere. The two bad issues - hair dryer did not work and there is no thermostat to turn heater on as it became cold in the middle of the night. I had to get up and wear my jacket in bed. However, the property is good for the price I paid. I only stayed one night to start my Camino. A good place to start!"

"this was a repeat visit after a 10 year gap. Little seems to have changed in that time. Although mainly a golf hotel, its a bit disappointing that the hotel doesn't try to cater for non golfers. For example there is plenty of room for tennis courts and a children's play area. Restaurant/bar staff always seemed too busy to provide the level of service you would expect for a 4* hotel"

"Astonishingly beautiful renovated palace with stunningly kept gardens and fountains. Fruit trees and flowers abound. The rooms are tastefully furnished with antiques and are spacious and light filled. The restaurant is closed on Monday so it’s a challenge to get food as it’s a long drive from town. The breakfast buffet is excellent especially the seating area. I would return here just to stay here again!"

"If you get a room with outside view it can be a good one, but if you get an inside one (as me) it's like hell."
