"My husband and I had the most wonderful stay, the staff are so kind and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent location - only about a 10-15 minute walk from the Old Town. Breakfasts here were amazing! On one of the days we had an early start so we’re going to miss breakfast and the hotel prepared us one to go! Really quiet and peaceful - no pool to swim in but you can dip your feet in the small pool at the end of a long day 😌 The hotel even prepared an extra special breakfast and room upgrade...

"This was an excellent stay prior to getting the ferry. A short walk to blue star terminal. The owners are so nice and very helpful the room was very clean , spacious , tidy and had cooking facilities. Super market just round the corner and a “locals” souvlaki place just opposite the supermarket. Would recommend this place to anyone for value for money and comfort. Again the owners where so nice"

"Probably the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly, helpful and professional. Lovely big well equipped room, comfortable, clean and high quality decor and furnishings. Excellent breakfast with lots of options cooked to order. Great location easily walkable to the whole town, great sunset views. Nice little pool and private rooftop pool was the icing on the cake. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and exclusive experience. ...

"If you like old wood smell, stay here. I get it, you are staying in the old town on Rhodes but room desperately needs an upgrade. Tired and dated. Smelled of old wood panelling. We stayed in the medieval villa “Places in Suspension’s” suite. More like suspension in time. Old musty furniture abounds. Pretty tacky. Having said that, the suite is huge! I mean HUGE! 160m sq. Living room and even a piano room. Multiple floors, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, two patios. The patios were great! Hot tub on the...

"Location to the old city was good easy walking distance, however lots of traffic noise (which appreciate is beyond control of owners). In a residential area, supermarket is in walking distance. Reception staff were really nice, welcoming and helpful. Room was compact, very small balcony and could do with some updating, tile paint coming away etc Very small lift, luggage storage small charge, Think there was a bed bug problem as took all the necessary precautions to stop mosquitos getting in....

"First time to rhodes and i was very impressed. The hotel is beautiful, clean and modern, tradional style bedroom (i think) but very spacious, very comfortable bed. Every single staff member was happy, always smiling and very helpful. All the food was amazing, great decent drinks and a huge choice of cocktails. I absolutely could not fault one thing. Great sea view room. Walking distance to new town where theres lots of bars, restaurants and shops. And not really much further to old town....

"The property is a little tired e.g. cracked glass in the balcony door but it is clean. The photos of the pool are a little deceptive, it is a pool but hardly a swimming pool. The hotel ad on Expedia says ‘Sun & fun on the beach’ & has photos of sunbeds on the beach. Whilst the hotel is only 3 minutes walk to the beach the Petit Palais does not offer sunbeds on the beach. The ad also states that ‘active travellers can enjoy amenities, such as fitness classes’ but there were no fitness classes .. until we pushed & we’re told we could join yoga at the Grand. Anyway, enough of the negativity. The Petit Palais has a really lovely feel about it, it’s not so big that it’s impersonal. The dining was really good, with plenty of choice, & it’s great that you can pay small additional amounts to enjoy nice wines. Most of the staff were great but we want to say a very special thank you to Nikos who went out of his way to ensure we had a great holiday. And also a mention to Dimitris at the Grand who was just altogether lovely. Would we return? Most certainly yes if the package included access to sun beds on the beach. "
