"Excellent hotel. Check in was unexpectedly helpful and friendly. Room was large and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is expensive but there are no options close to the hotel. Hotel is next to the #50 bus stop which goes directly to the airport and to the train station in Basel. Have fun!"

"My only complaint would be the lack of air conditioning, as the weather was exceptionally hot in July 2023. Having said that, I was aware that the rooms didn’t have air on when I booked. The hotel provided fans for myself and my travelling companions."

"We stayed here for 4 nights. Wednesday through Sunday. There’s a bus stop right down the street but only until 7pm. If you come back to hotel after that the nearest bus stop is a 15-20 minute walk. And on Sundays the bus doesn’t run until 1pm- which was unfortunate because we needed to get to the airport- but staff arranged a taxi for us on Sunday morning which was fantastic. "Taurus is in a great location. It has friendly and really helpful staff. And.....it has a Fire Alarm! The alarm in my room went off at 3.00am and I struggled to get back to sleep after because there was absolutely noone around to say whetyher or not it was a false alarm for certain. The alarm woke at least one other guest but he didnt get out of bed! "
