Room was very smal compared to pictures, there was a foul smell in the bathroom and the water doesn’t drain. The headboard is peeling and the sheets are itchy.

Very nice. No trouble with the self check in. Be sure if you take a taxi to give the driver the EXACT address otherwise you may get dropped off at Oddsson Midtown which is not nearby. Note to hosts: recommend doormats inside the rooms for wet snowboots.

Very clean and quick communication! I chose this one because it has a kitchen. Eating out for every meal can get very expensive in Reykjavík so being able to cook a few meals is great. The location is not right in the center of downtown Reykjavík where all the restaurants, bars, nightlife are (they're about 20min walk from the hotel). But considering the price, it makes sense and reasonable. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

The rooms are clean but on the small side for each category. Unmanned but easy to contact staff on intercom. Major issue was the bathrooms, they have sliding doors but the gap is not tight and there is a total lack of privacy. To make it worse, there is a circular gap as a door handle, so sound can transmit easily! Even in an established relationship, we need some privacy! Also, the sliding doors allow a lot of light through, so if your room companion needs to use the toilet in the middle of the night then this light wakes both people up. Complained to hotel after first night, they were rapid to response to this and very kindly moved to an alternative room where the bathroom wasn’t right next to the bed, but still the same issue with lack of privacy with the gap in the sliding bathroom door and translucent glass. About 5 minutes walk to various bus stops, but other hotels are slightly closer to the main city street.

This place was lovely!! It was extremely walkable with tons of dining options around. The only downside was the bathroom. The door was frosted glass, so didn’t allow for much privacy. Otherwise, amazing stay!
