The staff was extremely friendly! The hotel was dated but parking was easy, it was nice and quiet, driving distance was about 7 min from Reykjavik and 3-5 min from a lot of amazing things and food. Would go again.

Comfortable stay

Our stay was comfortable and was a good location for us. We are staying there again next week on the last night of our Icelandic stay. As well, the receptionist Blanca (?) was very helpful when we ran into difficulties booking ferry tickets. We are so very appreciative of her professional and efficient manner.

The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful with local attractions and tips for visitors. They also went above and beyond in helping us resolving issues with our credit cards were locked by the credit card companies.

Very lovely stay

We had a very nice stay, the staff was very friendly, food was tasty and the hotel was nice and quiet. One of the beds was sunken in, but all in all the stay was really good. Hotel is by a busy road so the air vents had to be closed for the night.

We found the hotel very affordable and adequate to our needs. Breakfast was solid and those working in the hotel were very professional and polite. Rooms, however, are VERY hot due to poor ventilation in the summer and, as others have mentioned, the water has a very strong sulphur smell.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was on the outskirts bof Reykjavik and so it was convenient to travel around. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was as well. There were options for dining around as well. We would definitely stay here again
