Good property if staying for one night if you have an early morning flight as it is not too far from the airport. Had a few issues during our stay that the owner promised to take care of. This property has great potential if the owner adds a washer/ dryer, electric iron and removes the medicine cabinet from above the sink.

Gardur Apartments was a wonderful experience- the apartment was immaculate and we really enjoyed the surroundings. The lighthouse at the end of the road is historical and beyond beautiful. We loved the Gardur area, it is away from the city and offers tranquility yet close enough if you need anything. Very safe and family friendly area and the house is so cute, we just loved it. In addition, the host is very communicative in advance and while you are there and wants to make sure you are happy. This was our first night stay in Iceland so that was such a nice aspect upon arrival.

The cottage was well furnished and very comfortable. It is very close to the airport and was a good choice for our last evening in Iceland. There is a walking path along the ocean that leads to a small museum and two lighthouses.
