"Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. "Great property. Travelling from Canada, we drove from Copenhagen to Nyborg and decoded to stay here for the night. The staff was very friendly, offered to make us a reservation, and front desk is operational 24 hours a day. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. "Just a 5-10 minute drive from the heart of the old town. Easy to access if coming from Odense station: 10 minute bus ride from the station, then a 5 min walk. If you like walking, it’s only a 30 minute walk from the train station. B&B unit is set up perfectly, and there is also access to their laundry. Would definitely re book if I’m in the area again. Area felt safe as a solo female area. "

"The rooms are well furnished although a little small. Good closet space for longer stays. The hotel has free coffee,tea and water stations both in the lobby and on the ground floor of the new building. The restaurant serves a great breakfast with fresh fruit, egg varieties, cheeses, and fresh baked bread of high quality. Dinner wasn’t that appealing as the price was quite high. "Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "

"Great stay, only an overnighter and unfortunately due to flights arrived late, but really straight forward communication with the hotel, via email and phone and the room was available, spotless and clean and comfortable, the breakfast was simple but tasty and it made the journey to Munkebo super easy"
