"Absolutely enjoyed 10 days on this historic property! The property is adjacent to the fortress and the hotel is a converted Soldiers barracks. "Traveling from Denmark to Norway, so had a stop over here , friendly close to fuel shops etc nice big room it could do with a little TLC but it's not bad , breakfast was very good, I'd recommend it for a short stay , definitely "

"10 day visit around Norway staying in different places. Worst bathroom on trip. Shower was not built in, with only a shower curtain, which did not prevent water flooding the bathroom. Best breakfast on trip. The buffet was excellent, with a good variety of hot and cold food. Good, central location and relaxed atmosphere"

"Very average. Couldn't find a parking space when I arrived. Dinner finishes at 20:00, obviously this is too early. Shower had mould in it. Breakfast was nothing special, first Hotel I have ever stayed at with no black tea? On the plus side the bed was clean and comfortable. "

"It’s a really nice camping sight with a fun playground for kids. The apartment was spacious and clean with enough beds for all of us and a nice bathroom. If you have small kids, we recommend this space. We didn’t visit the surrounding places but we did use it as a home base for our trips into Sweden. "

"Arrival at property did not like the fact that there is no bathroom in the bedroom . Bathroom was down stairs and you can smell urine it so bad urine burnt my eyes. It was not conducive for my family . We left and send an email to customer care which was provided and no one provide a follow up email or phone call "
