The pool was beautiful and very relaxing with a great bar took a nap in the sun! "Verdelago is a great 5-star resort in the Algarve, away from tourists and tourist traps. It is a vast resort with many things to do. However, potential guests should be aware it is not fully-open. "Wonderful 3 night stay in this really lovely wee hotel. From the moment we walked through the door the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We had a superior room with large balcony and sunbeds. Bed was super comfy and shower was great. Breakfast had a good selection of cold and hot buffet items. "Great location for quiet, relaxing time. Dining options were wonderful, rooftop bar, and rooftop pool or fantastic My favorite part was the spa area with the sauna steam room and whirlpool, hot tub and pool indoor Sunsets were magnificent and our little ride in a boat across the inlet to the walk to the Ocean was very peaceful in nature. The value for all the amenities was over the top. I would definitely book more than three nights there next time on my next visit to Portugal. Well, done "

"It was off season but still had options for where to eat, shop, and to go sightsee. The taxi company they use are good and reasonably priced for when the buses weren't available. The staff were super helpful and helped me make the most of my stay. I really enjoyed it and plan to return there in the future. "
