With walkable paths to the beach and to the downtown area (along with private water taxis for transportation if you don’t want to walk), everything was perfect. "POSITIVES Absolutely beautiful view from the room. Very spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Staff in the kitchen/servers were so kind to our son. Wifi did not work in our room but staff went above and beyond to have it repaired for us. NEGATIVES A bit awkward at check in. It appeared staff did not know we had a reservation and I had to prove/show our reservation email several times on my phone which was not the smoothest check in after a long day of travel. "

"A very nice hotel in Angra. Valet parking was a real plus. Breakfast options were plentiful, and the topmost floor had a lot of space to hang out or work. The area offered a wide variety of dining options within walking distance. Despite the name Angra Beach Hotel, it is not located by the beach, but it offers a free daily pass to a very nice beach in the Ilha da Jipoia. I will stay at this hotel again if I am ever back in Angra."
