"La façon dont les chalets sont disposés permettaient de ne pas vivre les uns sur les autres er de garder une intimité sonore et visuelle. Les logements sont propres et fonctionnels (manque un grille pain tout de même) En revanche les équipements sont soit vetustes soit pas entretenus soit mal pensés: salle de jeux vide, tables de ping-pong sans filets, espace BBQ en pierre sale et peu pratique, terrains de pétanque et basket juste posés là, pas de machine pour faire la monnaie. "We reserved at Castel Novel and also had made a restaurant booking on a Monday evening (confirmed by email) hoping to enjoy the tasting menu on offer. Unfortunately we were informed that the restaurant wasn’t open on Mondays and were directed to a nearby restaurant (La Caleche in Varetz). "Service and location are great. We were there for just one day but were told we could enjoy the swimming pool the following day. You will find tennis tables outside. Breakfast was good. We could not enjoy the activities of the day since we had a long drive the following day but it all seemed very interesting (local visits, clubs, children activities...) "

"A beautiful place next to a medieval town, right on the rock as the pictures correctly show. Its restaurant serves excellent food, one of the best meals that we had in France over 10 months (so many). The hotel is pet-friendly (yay for pet lovers), the pool is nice, but unheated, the breakfast is a bit on a limited side. I'd absolutely stay again."

"We ate at the hotel. The dining room was empty but the owner insisted we sit next to a French Couple who he conversed loudly with through out our meal, making our experience miserable, Food was mediocre."

"La Terrasse is a beautiful place in a great area! It is conveniently located near the main attractions but in an area where your stay can still be relaxing and peaceful. The staff is beyond wonderful and the breakfast is well worth it. Did not experience the dinner /dinning options at night but the menu looked amazing as well. Will definitely return here."
