"Excellent stand alone house. Very stylish and comfortable. Two bedrooms with a Queen and then double beds. Log fire! Large lounge with a beautiful white horse that lives right next to the house- who is very friendly. Very quiet location in a lovely quiet village. Excellent greek meal in the village square walking distance from house. We stayed in the middle of summer, so if there were some fans or airconditioning available that would be even better. We didn't know how to turn on the thermostat....

"Rarely does an accommodation get 5-stara but Paeonia just gets everything right. From the convenient location, attentiveness of the host, the comfort of the room, to the water pressure + hot water available, and to the amazing breakfast spread with self baked cakes. Dana is an amazing host and has a impeccable taste in decor. She never fails to make you feel at home and goes the extra mile to make sure you leave with a smile on your face. Bonus points if you love cats. "

"We are so glad we stayed here. We called to say that we would be arriving after 7pm. Our GPS took us passed the hotel and on to a crazy road. We called the hotel and they gave us some guidance (on the main road across from a little church). The owner even offered to find us and bring us back to the hotel if we couldn’t find it!! We got there in time to have dinner, and it was amazing! We chatted with the owner a bit and went up to the room. The air was cold but my teen boys said the shower was the most amazing shower they have ever taken. The beds were comfortable and we even had 4 towels and didn’t have to ask for them. Overall just a wonderful experience all around. I wasn’t sure what to expect for such a great price but it was fabulous. Also, take a drive in to Arachova and explore the town. It is very cute but very busy. We enjoyed being away from the crowd. There is a wonderful viewpoint with a magnificent view to your left just right up the road. The gas station by there also had good breakfast pastries. "
