"Congress Hall is iconic and has wonderful restaurants,, events and is perfectly situated. The staff is wonderful and it is clean, but the property itself is crazy. Our room itself sloped so bad that you felt that you had vertigo! The entire building has severe structural issues. "

"If you like old world history this historical hotel is for you. My visit was during off season so didn't get to experience the hotel in full swing. Had nice amenities for being an old building."

I must've mentioned it to someone because we came back to the room on the 2nd night to a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a congratulations letter from the Star Inn. "This is an older property, however they do a wonderful job keeping it up. The room walls are rather thin, you can hear people around you. The price was great so we were ok with that. Had a little kitchenette which we didn't need or use but could really come in handy."

"It was closed to Cape May Coast Guard Recruting Center. The price was accordingly to the property. Check in was very easy, check out as well. Loved the Diner Restaurant closed by, perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff, nice hot water. "
