The light in car park not enough. TV signaling so bad, we couldn’t watched. Not suitable for the elderly due to too many steps from the front to lobby. The atmosphere is excellent!!!

Beautiful resort for a very relaxing holiday. It’s a bit remote. Very long entrance drive. Can’t walk to anywhere. Must have a car or motorcycle.

Break from Bangkok
Overall a very nice resort, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Good place to get away from the hustle of Bangkok - only 2 hours drive from the centre of Bangkok. Hotel is undergoing some refurbishment as parts are a tad dated, however I found this part of its charm. Grounds are kept very well, rooms are very clean, food is good, nice wine selection, very peaceful and picturesque. One of Thailand’s national parks is nearby for a good coastal walk, couple of piers to pick up boats for tours etc Beach is ok, not amazing however pool etc is pleasant

Staff is helpful but the hotel itself was required to be upgraded as the furniture was very old and water heater was also not working.

Nice hotel on the beach in a quiet location
The hotel is located at the end of a private road on a hillside falling into the sea with water surrounding it from two sides. The location and beach is nice with direct sight of the Ko Samet island in the distance. Sunbeds are placed on a well-kept lawn. There are three swimming pools with nice views of the coastline. The hotel facilities themselves show signs of wear, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast got much better recently compared to my previous stays.

Beautiful setting by sea is main advantage. Breakfast not so good. Staff friendly and helpful. A long way from other activities if you are looking for things to do.

Bring your own transport and this place is magic
This place is wonderful. Dont let the walk to the reception turn you off. Its a fantastic place. Every room has a sea view. Its truly a postcard setting. Do yourself a favour, rent a car from Bangkok and bring it here. You will be rewarded. The nearby Mae Ram Phueng Beach is a nice distraction and many nice spots to grab a feed and Ban Phe also right near the hotel as well, which, aside from its seafood markets and shell arts, also has easy access for a day trip to Koh Samed as well.
