"This property resonated with the old German charm I was hoping to encounter during our summer trip to Germany! "Very average hotel, but for the price I had to accept the quality. Unfortunately doors with no noise isolation, so I was disturbed early morning by other hotel quests. The breakfast was quite disappointing. Poor choice, medium quality, bad coffee, this is not what I was expecting from german hotel, usually in germany breakfast is excellent and this was not the case there. The staff friendly, hotel clean, carpark on the street, but no problem to find a space."

"Eichwalde is a quiet, residential town. I was planning a couple of long days at DESY-Zeuthen, one S-Bahn stop south of Eichwalde (or a nice 45 minute walk). I typically stay in Berlin proper, but wanted to give this a try. Anyway, I had a small, but very nice, single room. Checked in late via the intercom and key lock-box. I had a German speaker with me, but it seems likely it would have worked in any case. Breakfast was quiet, food and coffee were excellent."
