"This is an excellent location to the river and old city along with luxury shopping. Amazing location. The amenities are great but no treadmill in the gym….its ok though as dusseldorf is a perfect city to run outside. Nice bar and breakfast restaurant too. "

"A great location for the old town and classy shopping district. Very efficient ‘light touch’ check in and check out. Functional rooms with everything you need and very spacious too. Would prefer a more comfortable mattress but otherwise all good. "

"The Check in process was really annoying. Self entering all my details name / address / passport / date of birth etc into this stupid iPad where all of this info was already saved on hotels.com is totally mid / wack / crap. Combine that with waiting for a receptionist who also goes away to serve drinks as a bartender makes for a garbage first impression. Add to the this that I had two single day reservations so I had to go through this crap process twice. Let’s be clear I hate this check in...

"A. Dry friendly hotel. Serves one of the better breakfast that I have had. Nice selection of food. Our first room wasn’t in good working order and they moved us right away no questions asked. The pool is on top of the building so you get a great view of the city. The Spa is very nice as well. Had a great time as the location was a 10 minute walk to all the shopping you wanted and a 10 minute walk to old town for all the food you wanted. If you want Asian food it is all around the hotel. "

Leonardo Royal Hotel Düsseldorf Königsallee

5/5 Excellent

"15 mins. walk from Düsseldorf Hbf but 10 mins. walk from Alstadt. Few restaurants available around the hotel, so you'd better go to Alstadt. Only negative point was that desk light was broken and I asked receptionist to change light bulb, which has never occurred during my stay."
