"We love this charming hotel built into medieval stone and very close to the Maiella mountains! "The hotel is lovely and very clean and the staff including Franco who was extremely friendly and accommodating, and Chef Marco whose homemade pastas were so delicious. We had a beautiful terrace which overlooked beautiful scenery. On Sunday morning, we were serenaded with a cacophony of church bells ringing simultaneously. It was simply beautiful. "I had a very nice stay. I speak English and the staff tried their hardest to understand me and help with all my needs. The day spa was very nice, but for 1 night stays, and check in at 3, and check out at 11 you can’t possibly get your moneys worth. Next time I will need to stay at least 2 nights. My room was spotless, very clean and comfortable. Housecleaning did a wonerdul job. Breakfast was beautiful on the terrace and delish!"

Campagna has historical sites which housed Jews during war, but the Italians were kind to the prisoners, which caused some their lives.
