Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. "The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. "Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment. Packed with history and a real oasis of peace and comfort. Afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious with a wide choice of options. I felt that the dinner option I had was a bit “nouveau cuisine”, lots on the plate but not much there. But what was there was very well prepared. Spa was very pleasant, although a bit of a shame that the steam room was out of order, as well as the lift to the spa. Will be staying again, it’s not cheap, but you pay for what you get. "

"Stay at this hotel. Firstly, a credit to the staff, all of whom were fantastically polite and personable, providing simply great service. The vintage lift was a unique joy with the communal areas continuing the slightly nostalgic theme. The bar and dining vibe was relaxed, quiet and combined with great food and attentive staff made for a relaxed breakfast, evening drinks and dinner. Incidentally, dining provides for great views over the harbour. Our room had the most complete sea vista, was incredibly clean with a very comfy bed and was very well stocked with tea and Nespresso coffee. In contrast to other large hotels locally the Harbour provided for a quiet, relaxing stay and a memorable visit to Fowey. Thank you to all at the hotel. "
