"Pros: The apartment was clean and had plenty of towels and the kitchen was equipped with all the necessary pots and pans if you wish to cook. However, no salt, pepper, oil, or sugar was available, so if staying short term not worth buying to cook a few meals. Another plus was a cloth washing machine ..."

Although you can get about by car, I think you need to be able to walk (and especially to manage stairs easily) to get the best out of a stay here.
