"The best (perhaps the only) luxury hotel in Ortigia. Excellent location on the sea within walking distance to the everything. Very nice rooms. We had a Garamond Jr. Suite. "Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel. It is on the outskirts of Noto but the centre is 5 minute in the car. I will be back again "

"Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "
