"The room was huge! everything was super clean which is always the most important thing to me. I ended up getting a handicap accessible room and the shower was GREAT, had a handheld shower head which is so much better than usual hotel showers. The staff was SO friendly and helpful and supportive. The free breakfast was really impressive. I will absolutely stay here again. Easy 20 min Uber to LGA. i love it"

"This area is accessible to various train lines. It is a less than 15-minute train ride to Manhattan. It’s very convenient when you want to be close but not too close to the mayhem. This was family New Year’s vacation and we chose this property due to its rooftop garden that was listed. Ultimately, this was the deciding factor, so when we arrived and were told that this location didn’t have a rooftop garden we were very disappointed. Aside from that, everything went well. "The property is in a relatively quiet neighborhood of LIC, 3-4 blocks from 2 different metro stations, and the property is clean. Room is clean and decent size considering that it is so close to NYC. Street parking is possible although it takes some time. NP. Two minor complaints: 1. the queen bed feels narrower than my queen size bed at home for two people. 2. we smell strong smoke/pot one of the two nights, likely through the HVAC from people upstairs/downstairs.
