Nice and clean. Pool was a plus. But most importantly to me, it is conveniently located to some nice nature sites, such as Quechee Gorge. Also Woodstock is a very short drive, but staying here is much less expensive than in Woodstock itself. I was visiting at the last days of September, the leaves just started to turn, and views were gorgeous. Keep in mind though that in this time of year, many restaurants and shops are not open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and some even on Wednesdays - although that makes for thinner crowds.

It was an older hotel that had had a complete makeover. The rooms were lovely and clean with big new TV and cable. Continental Breakfast was included. A variety of fruits, yogurt, waffle maker, bagels, muffins and breads. I would highly recommend it. It is within walking distance of the gorge
