"Die Besitzer geben sich sehr viel Mühe. Sig. Biagio stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Zimmer mit Klima und Kühlschrank mit eigener Terasse ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Kleiner Strand und Meer in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar und auch nach Punta Secca ist es nicht weit. "A little piece of heaven on earth. Tranquil and ideallic. Did not want to leave! To fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves lapping on the rocks was wonderful. Bruna, Georgio and his wife, and Frederico treated us like family with a delicious breakfast ready for us every morning. Their knowledge of the local area helped us plan each day. We will be back. "I stayed here for a weekend because my friends wedding reception was nearby. The place is beautiful. Maria and her husband are the sweetest! I don’t speak Italian but we were able to communicate very well. They make you feel like you are their family. I felt so safe and if I am ever back in Sicily I would stay here again. Hotel website is misleading - we booked Deluxe room but was allocated room 904 which is indicated on website as cheaper Superior room, there was no view of St Matthew hill as claimed, the room was noisy (ac/heating and next door shower) not silent as claimed. "Lovely old hotel with a lot of character. We were only there for one night but had a good night’s sleep. We were late to check in but there was good communication with the representative who very kindly waited for us (for a fee for late check in after 8pm). They were also very kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases at their office for the day whilst we e loved Scicli which was and chanting little town."
