"The airport shuttle was a bonus. We arrived too late for the free service but the hotel arranged for a taxi at a reasonable rate. Went smoothly. The pool area looked very nice but we didn’t have time to try it out. "

"We had to wait for 30-40 minutes as the person capable of doing our check in was having dinner. The person at reception who received us when we arrived was not able to do our check in. He was nice about it but we had a long day and were eager to obtain our room. "

"This was not up to the standard of a Wyndham in general and certainly not what was advertised. There were no hot tubs. None of the restaurants were functional, and the place was extremely understaffed. The staff for room service was extremely overworked doing other hotel maintenance and therefore there was really no room service available. I ended up having to download and order from a delivery app. I also ordered a to go breakfast because of Ramadan and initially I was told they couldn’t accommodate, despite the fact that breakfast was included in my reservation. I was only provided miscellaneous nuts, one apple, and one bottle of water. There was also no ability for me to make tea or have a hot bath because my bath would not stay full. The tub was also pretty disgusting. There were bits of paint chips and black anti-slip tape littering it. My goal was to stay at a relaxing 3 star hotel before my 12 hour journey home, and I wasn’t even able to take a hot bath enjoy a mug of hot tea or have a proper breakfast. Not to mention the fact that one of the staff was extremely unprofessional and put their hands on me twice after invading my personal space . When I made complaints about all of these things, the on-site “human resources“ staff was beyond unhelpful. The entirety of the experience was beyond disappointing. "

"Nuestra estancia fue muy buena, solo el transporte del aeropuerto no fue el planeado, el hotel aunque cuenta con transporte no va por los pasajeros si no te comunicas 72 horas antes de la llegada para que ellos se programen, en su defecto ellos te envían un transporte privado pero tú lo tienes que pagar. Al llegar al hotel tuvimos algunas dificultades con el desayuno que aparentemente según la agencia que contratamos no lo habíamos incluido. La persona que nos recibió se llama Alonso Olivares, nos hizo las acomodaciones necesarias y nos instaló y durante nuestra estancia siempre estuvo al pendiente que estuviéramos bien y disfrutáramos del viaje. También Tania nos ayudó para que nos dieran un descuento en el desayuno y pues eso tomamos. No quisimos seguir teniendo más problemas porque no fue lo que planeamos, mejor decidimos gozar nuestra estancia en San José Costa Rica y disfrutar de sus alrededores. Asegúrense de verificar y confirmar directamente con el hotel antes de llegar para evitar contratiempos. Lección aprendida!! "

"The stay was great! The location is very central, there are many options for food and shopping (Multiplaza Mall) nearby within easy walking distance. Due to some inexplicable noise from below I had to change rooms. The first room was very nice with a desk and sofa, but the replacement room had no desk for working at. But I did appreciate the flexibility of the team to offer me another room! I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again on my next visit to Escazu!"
