I would stay here again after 10 years when the construction is done There were very loud pile drivers and jack hammers going all day long every day !!!! No possibility of relaxation!!! And there was raccoons on the tables at dinner time that THE WAITERS WERE FEEDING BREAD!! But the property is beautiful, the food is good, the entertainment is good, and the staff is tremendous - friendly and helpful We always stay at all inclusives and this is the first one ever, that on checkout day - seems wanting to push you away forever I'm not talking about checkout times, but the revoking of priveleges We weren't affected as our flite was at 3 But people with flite at midnite were basically thrown out on the street at 11 am! Saving a few bucks? IT DOESN'T AT ALL SAY COME BACK AGAIN!!

Food was moderate. Nothing fancy. Lots of Mexican choices compared to western cuisine. "Sellers" on the beach were annoyong. Constantly coming up to you. They had put a dividing barrier rope in place after we got there but they would still come right up to your chair every 7 minutes. Entertainment was mediorcre, just live bands, not actual shows like other 4 or 5 star places. Location is great if you want to go off resort and do stuff. Shopping malls close by, marina is a 7 minute walk, and 10 minutes from airport.

The front desk staff was rude. The food was awful. During our stay portion of the Hotel got “SOLD” so we weren’t able to enjoy the other pool. Only two restaurants open and so much construction going on. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

Overall awful stay, had construction through most of the resort, which had a pool closed, restaurants closed, and a couple power outages causing toooms to have no AC, and elevators not to work

There was black mold on my black out curtain. I got sick being in the room. The sink was clogged, asked twice to get it fixed no one came to fix it. Housekeeping cleaned our room and three days we had to go ask for towels. There were no towels. This place need some up grades and service needs to improve. This was my third time there and this will be my last stay. I will not go back for now. My biggest turn off was the back mold that got me sick .

We stayed at the KRYSTAL VALLARTA from Jan 13-23, 2025. Our safe needed batteries and the cover fixed. We got batteries but needed to get tape to hold the battery cover in place. The toilet lever was broke. It was not fixed during our stay. My husband had to take the tank cover off and we used the plunger inside the tank to flush the toilet. On the plus side our bed and pillows were very comfortable. And the room was clean. The grounds were lovely but there was so much construction going on so it was noisy. Not the resort fault as improvements were being made and a 3 new towers were in the process of being built. Some of this construction will get worse going forward. Pools were not heated, so they were very cold. Once you are in the pool you will climatize to the cold. Beaches were very nice and lots of chairs and palapa's to use as well you did not have to get up early to get a chair around the pool. Best meal of the day was breakfast! Lunch and dinner were mediocre at best. But we did not starve!

The property is under construction, which was noisy during the day time. 2 of the 4 restaurants were closed. Food was the same everyday only made differently. This is the worst hotel that i have stayed at in my 40 years of traveling. Some Holiday Inns are better property then this hotel. Sink was not draining in bathroom. cracked tiles in bathroom, TV was not working. had to ask for extra hand towels, only given 1 hand towel everyday. And on and on and on. Never returning to this property again.

I would have never booked this resort had I known it was a full time, all area construction site. Jack hammers busting concrete all day. I caught food poisoning my first meal there. Totally unacceptable, this was a 3 rd world experience in a construction site atmosphere. The worst holiday I have ever been on. Way better accommodations elsewhere in P V

It is a beautiful property but the upkeep and maintenance is poor hence the property looks run down. Most of the staff are good but there is no genuine hospitality from them except a few of the staff that we encountered during the stay. We feel that the training of the staff is inadequate hence a lot of inconsistency in service standards. We had to ask for simple things like shampoo, bathmats, hand towels etc. Overall, we had a great time, a word of caution, please have some basic knowledge of Espanol otherwise it is a bit difficult to communicate. lots of food and drink on the all-inclusive plan to enjoy and relax

We had a beautiful ocean view from the 12th floor of the 15 floor tower. However, because of construction happening on the property power to the tower was out for 6 hours one day and three hours another day. Therefore no elevators. On two other days we were down to one elevator for a time. The noise level from a Jack hammer breaking up old concrete for 5 days was not conducive to a restful vacation. I swam one day in one of the pools and the next day it was out of commission (drained and taped off) as were all the lounge chairs that could have been used. The rule of not reserving chairs does not seem to be enforced. Nor does the no smoking rule. There was always lots of food, some very good and some became repetitive. However, the restaurant staff were very attentive and pleasant. The floor of our room was quite disgustingly dirty when we moved in. It was not noticeable until the sun shone directly through the glass patio doors and you could see dust, sand and lots of hair. I used a bath towel as a broom to move it so we did not have to walk through it. It got somewhat better as the days went on. I don’t stay in 5 star hotels and I’m not a fussy person but the few things I listed above made our vacation quite unpleasant at times.

Based on the reviews I read, I thought the hotel was going to be worse. The room was clean and was cleaned daily along with fresh towels. The food is practically the same every day and not all of it is good, but there are ‘safe’ options. If you’re plan is to be out and about, then skip the all-inclusive. The main pool is beach front but vendors can come up to you. Another thing, if your plan is to lounge in the pool all day, thats a solid no especially if there is wind. It’s extremely cold and the pool is generally empty because of it. The hotel does activities at the pool such as guessing games, water aerobics, beach volleyball and soccer. During dinner, there can be a live duo or a group playing music. Was it the best? No, they can improve. However, for the price it is decent. I would say it’s geared more towards either an economic family oriented or older generation hotel as the pool closes at 8pm, and there is no club or other night activities on site. Due to the pool being freezing and paying for all inclusive (assuming you’re at the hotel all day) spend the extra $300 for a hotel with more amenities and a newer establishment.

Three of us stayed at the Krystal Resort Puerto Vallarta hotel for six nights, and every single day we had to ask the housekeeper to give us towels, face cloths, hand towels, toiletries, etc. The housekeeper will leave two towels or no towels at all, with no hand towels and no face loss, and we will call the front desk every day for six days to request service for our room. The housekeeper never changed our bed or cleaned our room when requested,,we found it dirty. Stain on the bed the things that previous nights. No hot water for a shower as well; we called the front desk several times, and nothing was done. Also, the male waiters at the buffet were extremely aggressive and pushy for tips. They will constantly ask you, Buggy, for tips while you’re eating. They will not leave you alone. The food was great, though. Our overall experience in the city with the people outside the hotel were great.
