The staff are incredible!! Resort is great and we enjoyed everything. But, the staff members make it amazing!!! Johan, Michael, Jesus, and the entire entertainment team felt like family after a few days… but overall everyone was super friendly!!!!

We just returned from a week at Margaritaville and highly recommend it. There is room for confusion as there are 2 Margaritaville resorts in close proximity, this was the adults only resort. There is no usable beach currently. I know for some that is a non-negotiable. I feel they have done an excellent job of making up for that with abundant chairs and umbrellas, many with ocean view. The room was modern and so clean. We greatly appreciated the rainfall shower, and the fact that the water was hot at any hour of the day. The bed was really comfortable, and we loved the Kliptsh Bluetooth speaker provided. The alcohol was premium, and freely flowing. No watered down drinks here! We discovered the Iceberg very late in our stay, which was a frozen margarita served on draft beer, perfect for the pool. My only complaint in this department was no cranberry juice. The food was great. The scale of the resort plays a huge factor here. There are only 2 restaurants to reserve with formal service, bith of which had fantastic food. That said, you have seated, order off the menu/cooked to order bar food, and room service which we thought was the best in total from our other all inclusive experiences. We wished there was someplace to walk, but there just wasn't. The road in was not paved, and narrow, not suitable for walking. The staff is really the highlight here. They work incredibly hard and are so personable. It was terrific to make new friends from all over the globe.

The food was bland lots of selection just very bland. The drinks were off. Ceaser with tomatoe juice, coke was not coke cola but some other brand that did not taste right. Lots of drinks we had we ended up not enjoying. Once we found a couple they were good though. Other then that very beautiful place and very clean and wicked entertainment staff.

Overall the staff was amazing. a huge down fall is no where did I see on their site that they do not have a beach as it was swept away due to bad weather. I understand that this does not fall on the hotel but they shouldn’t false advertise and show the beach when one does not currently exist. The entrance to get to our hotel was very rough which made taxis increase the price to pick up and drop off there and other surrounding hotels. There are 2 restaurants that were first come first served but I waited over an hour at one of them while I watched other people “reserve” a place ahead of me that just walked up, so I was a bit confused on this. Other then these few downfalls the staff members were great, the hotel was clean, the bartenders were great, and if you are a person who doesn’t mind not having a beach but wants great service this is the place to stay.

El día que llegue me enteré que la playa había sido afectada por los huracanes, a lo que yo pregunté si era posible tener acceso a la playa del otro Margaritaville. Dos personas en diferentes puestos me dijeron que averiguarían pues eso solo se podía si el otro hotel lo permitía, yo entendí y acepte. Yo llegué domingo, ambas personas atendieron mi petición a mi llegada…ya estoy de regreso en mi casa y aún estoy esperando respuestas. Jamás me llamaron o avisaron sobre el tema. No me dieron muchas opciones, a parte de ser yo la que sugerí el ir al otro hotel, solo que si quería ir a una playa pública tenía que tomar un taxi pagar $50 para ir a Cancún. Otra cosa, cuando hice la reservación me enviaron un correo preguntando si había algún motivo en especial por el que viajaba, les dije que era por mi cumpleaños. Para que preguntar si al final es irrelevante. Hasta cuando llegue les dije que al día siguiente era mi cumpleaños, y??? Cual es el punto de preguntar? No se si la atención es selectiva y la tienen con personas a las cuales ellos pueden sacar algún beneficio. Dos restaurantes disponible, el bufet no abría para la cena siempre, aunque habían como dije dos restaurantes disponible. La variedad del bufet del desayuno (para la altura de un Margaritaville) muy básica y repetitiva. Elegiría este hotel nuevamente? No! Esta era mi tercera vez en la Riviera Maya y en otros hoteles son más creativos y más baratos.

The resort was nice. No beach access, though, and not at all a Mexico-feel experience. Very Americanized for what we wanted to experience, down to the music and food. Could have had that experience in the U.S. Nevertheless, it was good. Our room was beautiful, though.

We enjoyed our two night stay here! It is a very small resort. Which means it's also easy to navigate. I was never lost or turned around. However, it also means there are limited options for entertainment, bars, dining etc. We really enjoyed our time at the swim up bar! We also loved the Landshark bar. It was like being out at home with live music, a pool table and beers. We dined at both a la carte dinner restaurants and really enjoyed them! We were told at check in that there were no available reservations but we had no problem doing an early walk in seating. The coffee shop is pretty good. The burger at the bar close to the pool was honestly the best burger we've had in mexico! We tried the buffet for breakfast one day and it was pretty standard fare. Alcohol options are decent but not top shelf, which we didn't mind for the price. The lobby bar has some top shelf options but I found their service to be a little "selective". I had to wait a while and even then I had to elicit the bartender's attention. We had a swim out room and it was large, clean and comfortable! There were robes but we did not receive flip flops. There is no beach, so do not set yourself for disappointment if that is important to you. Overall, the price point here is a good value for what you get and we would return!

This property is new and lovely. Room was excellent. The issues are the food was ok and they are understaffed in the restaurants. Waiting 1.5 hours for a meal. Buffet ok, hard to get a drink served with table staff at buffet. They are also deceptive and pouring cheap liquor out of top shelf brands. Eg. Main bar asked for a Disaronno on ice, they poured it out of a Disaronno bottle but it was a pink tinged cheap Ameretto.

There was dried vomit on my bathroom floor and in the shower. I even had the maid come on the day before I checked out and it was still there. Staff moved furniture upstairs at 11:30p at night while the bars were open. Not everyone was there so sleeping was a no go until after 1a. Reservations on your first night are impossible. The reservations we had on both days in the different restaurants were at or after 9p and took 35-45mins for food to be prepared. The steakhouse steak was inedible so we left hungry. Frank & Lola’s Italian was the only thing good. Everything else was passable or just not good. We saw people cleaning the pools but not well. One day the manager was taking the staff around during the middle of the day to point out things they missed. Also, they were spraying for bugs directly into people’s facing in the pool in the middle of the day. This was not only disrespectful but hazardous. Most staff were friendly, others not so much. Needless to say paying to upgrade to the swimout with a dirty pool, disgusting bathroom, and limited food I will not be back.
