This was a centrally located property in Puerto Varas. The breakfast wasn't the greatest- but there are several bakeries and coffee shops close by. The staff was very friendly and offered some great recommendations.

The stay was excellent! Our suite has a spectacular view of the lake and volcano. The room was clean and tidy, and the staffs are all very friendly. We requested the crib for our baby when we booked and it was there in the room when we checked in. The location is also excellent with walkable distance to beach, many very nice stores, restaurants and parks nearby. 5/5!

Very good location walking distance from amenities and right across lake with loveky view including volcanos. Staff friendly, helpful, flexible and professional. Had a lovely room at the Bellavista overlooking the lake and volcanos. Nice balcony for watching the sunsets. Everyone at the hotel was extremely polite, pleasant, and helpful. They ensured that I had everything I needed especially since my Spanish is so limited. Spent an afternoon at the jetted pool, sauna, and had a massage. My only complaint about the entire experience was that I would have liked the pool to be warmer. Would definitely stay here again.

We just spent 5 nights at the Bellavista and it was outstanding! The location is absolutely perfect -- we were able to walk everywhere in town, and the staff was exceptional. From the front desk to bar/restaurant to housekeeping, all staff wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our family of 4 stayed in the duplex and there was tons of room. The view from our rooms was beyond incredible, and the beds very comfortable. A special thanks to Carolina (bar/restaurant manager) and Carolina (front desk) for making our stay even more enjoyable!

A key downside is the pool – while it offers amazing views, families should know that you must reserve pool time before arrival. You only get one hour per day, which is quite limiting for a vacation spot. The Bella Vista Hotel has an excellent location, offering stunning views of the lake and nearby volcanoes. It’s also conveniently in the city center, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. However, the hotel shows signs of aging, especially in the rooms, which aren’t as well-maintained as expected. On the plus side, the restaurant serves excellent food.
