"We had to change our flight and would arrive a day later than planned. We attempted to reach out the hotel to coordinate but got no answer. When we finally arrived, no one was there and we were informed through Expedia that the hotel considered us late and cancelled our reservation. So we were stuck out in the cold at night without a place to stay. The day we were leaving Puerto Madryn, the hotel finally messaged us the check in information. Never been so disrespected as a PAYING customer....

"This is the 3rd time trying to write this review. On the way to the airport leaving the US, I messaged Complejo La Lucila to tell them that I would be checking in at around 8pm. They responded with one word, saying our reservation was cancelled. No explenation was given, other than they sold the room to someone else. We were on our way to a foreign country and remote area with no place to stay. No other rooms in the city were available."

"Mariano nos recibió súper bien y nos asesoró sobre las actividades que podíamos hacer. El alojamiento estaba calentito cuando llegamos (súper importante ya que hacía frío). Éramos 7 personas y un perrito y estuvimos muy cómodos! Recomendable!"

"Die Unterkunft ist eine kleine 2 Zimmer Wohnung mit Küche mitten in einer Wohngegend in Puerto Madryn. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln Der Gastgeber ist äußerst hilfsbereit, unterstützend und engagiert. Unbedingt um Tipps für die Region fragen und er hat immer recht. Muchas Gracias!"

"We got the balcony that we asked for. It was pretty hot, so didn’t get to use it as much as I would’ve liked. An umbrella or shade on the balcony would’ve been great. The rooms with a balcony were smaller. The bathroom just had the small sink, so nowhere to put toiletries. The window had a blackout screen. Nice, but, some sheer curtains would’ve been nice in addition to the blackout screen. You asked my opinion :) The location was great. Staff was very accommodating. "

Instead we chose to open the door because the temperature was lovely and that stopped the noise. He said all the rooms on ocean side had that same problem. Beds were very comfortable and the water pressure was great. Parking in the basement garage was very tight but safe. Since it was the off season there was plenty of street parking also but in high season those few garage spots would be coveted - we called in advance to ensure one was saved for us. I would stay here again."

So we were stuck out in the cold at night without a place to stay. The day we were leaving Puerto Madryn, the hotel finally messaged us the check in information. Never been so disrespected as a PAYING customer. Would NEVER recommend anyone book with this hotel. HORRIBLE experience. And they did NOTHING to help us, just took our money for three nights and kicked us to the cold street. "
