"The hotel is in good location with 10 min walk into town. The pools are salt water and cold. A lot of rooms over look the pool. And Evening bar with entertainment on. The restaurant was refurbished but has since closed. It just received a lot of new sunbeds as a lot of the old ones are broken. Nice sunset view outside of hotel"

"We had a lovely stay. Room is basic but fine for what we needed. Beds are comfy but pillows not so much, 2 pillows for each person would be better. Sofa could do with a little clean. Facilities are good, breakfast was good and staff are friendly. Both times we have stayed here we have had to wait for are rooms to be ready, perhaps the hotel need to look to change their 2pm check in time that they state. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely come back to stay again soon. "

"Super room allocation overlooking the sea. Lots of street noise whilst ferry traffic disembarking ..although this did bother us. Discount vouchers for local restaurants & hb offer. Antonella very helpful. Asked for an upgrade & got a suite for €30 extra. WiFi dreadful. "

"Only here for one night. Rooms a good size comfy bed and dead quiet and dark to sleep in. The foods good 2 good sizes pools and right across the road for the beach. We just got the local bus here €1.40 3 stops from airport if goes to terminal 2 Would stay again perfect for what we needed "

"Bad start to our stay. Booked a table for dinner on the first night. When we turned up to eat the table we had chosen had been allocated to a party of 6 and we were informed no one can book a table!! The member of staff who told us this was quite off hand and rude. "I stay here once or twice a year without hesitation. Everyone I deal with from Moh the waiter to the housekeeping maids like Anita are so helpful and friendly. It's a great tribute to the hotel that the staff are so excellent and continue to work for Riu. A massive turnaround of guests and they do it seamlessly. Fantastic! "

Went with the prefared club which is well worth it for the lovely infinity heated pool alone. Got a lovely receptionist who welcomed us, didn't get her name but she had short grey hair and glasses. Great Family Spot

"Amazing family stay. Entertainment for kids and adults was on throughout the day and night. Staff were friendly. Food options included plenty of variety. Lots of different pools, only point would be to request that an additional pool is heated during winter months as the bigger ones weren’t used a much. Spa was lovely, games rooms kept the children busy. Room was as you’d expect, a little extra wardrobe space would be good. Quiet spot location wise, roughly 30 min walk (enjoyable along the coastal path) to the sandy beach and shops at a slowish pace. Would highly recommend as a Christmas / New Years break"

Professional staff, great location and values

"We stayed during Christmas period and really appreciate the hard work of all staff at reception, restaurant etc to provide normal desk service, cleaning of our room, pool, and various kind of activities. Our door lock is also quickly repaired. They are very professional and friendly. It makes our holiday a pleasant stay. Even our room is not the modern style, we are very happy with the layout with a living room and beautiful seaview/pool view at balcony. Great location, easy to walk around and we also took free shuttle to Playa Grande. "
